Day 1

Thus begins our new life as a family of 5.

The children seem to be hitting it off quite well.  Heng Xin seems comfortable with either one of us.  Coming in this morning, she came right to me and hopped up in my lap.  Leaving for breakfast she sought out my hand to hold - one glorious feeling.

    Praise the LORD for Star's wonderful adjustment! I will continue to pray that she looks forward to life with her new family nad never looks back! It brought tears to my eyes when you wrote about her signing her own name on the adoption papers and that she DID want to be adopted! AWESOME!!!! looking forward to reading more about your trip!
